Abstract
Due to wide utilization of plastics in many field of life, that caused of accumulation of millions tons of this material inthe environment, and caused deleterious effects to the different environmental components, due toits long term, toxicity and hard to degradation. Deleterious and toxic effect of chemical plastic on environment and organisms, led to the researches for production of biomaterials to replace this compound.Bioplastic utilize in many industrials ad medical field ,because of its biodegradability ,subsequently ,disposal of this pollutants . This work focused on obtaining to local bacterial isolates capable of bioplastic (Poly-3-hydroxybutyrate) production with high concentration. One hundred and forty five bacterial isolates belonging to the species Pseudomonas aerugiosawere obtained, 40 isolates were Poly3-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) producers with different ratios.Pseudomonas aerugiosa Dw7shown high ability to grow and produce PHB with 60%of biomass using fermenter of 5 litters. Chemical and physical properties of PHB product were studied. Results show the product conformity to word products, whence melting point, crystillinity, active groups, biodegradability and its appearance. Results also reviled that capability of microbial polyhydroxy-butyrate for degradation reached 83%, in comparison with 2%biodegradation with chemical synthesized polypropylene at the same biodegradation conditions.
