Abstract
The Iraqi infant incubator (for premature), has been designed and built to satisfy the Iraqi environmental conditions, by accumulating: new trend of medical technology, cost effective and real on base requirements. While the other manufactured incubators have on their problems due to the mismatched between design and the environment, the new design once closed this unmatched state. The thermal distribution of the indoor condition for the incubator, have been designed to quantify and qualify the real needing for the occupancy and this is done by modifying both the outer shape and the control units. The new changes increase the expected durability and time life of the machine, with the easy to service and access strategy, which made the periodic service for it easily done without needing to stop the machine. Also, a smart backup power supply have been added to solve the problem of electrical fluctuations and sudden shut down. The new suggested design has been tested in the lab, and returns back with an excellent expected behavior. Important to say, the suggested solution here drawn and inspired from the real daily problems in our country hospitals.
