Abstract
In the early diagnosis of thyroid cancer and prostate cancer, the chance of successful treatment of the disease is greater, so the cancer mortality rate can be reduced if the disease is detected and treated in its early stages. In this work, the DNA was extracted from the blood sample for patients with thyroid cancer and patients with prostate cancer as well as healthy individuals, then used the electrophoresis to ensure the success of DNA extraction. The extracted genetic material (DNA) was mixed with specific primers to amplify specific regions of the gene by polymerase chain reaction PCR. The genetic analyzer sequencer was used to determine the nucleotide sequences of the amplified regions, which revealed a point mutation for all patients with thyroid cancer and patients with prostate cancer and its absence in healthy individuals, and can be used in early diagnosis of patients with thyroid cancer and patients with prostate cancer.
