The college of education for women at the University of Baghdad has participated recently in the 16th Arab Brothers Meeting Festival for Various Hobbies and Crafts held and sponsored by the ministry of culture, tourism and antiquities under the slogan “Let’s open up to Baghdad civilization and peace.”
The college’s participation included six departments (English language, home economics, kindergartens, history, Quran science and geography). The participants left their marks in this brilliant event through a series of handicrafts, paintings, some local Iraqi products and sculptures made by the sculptor Prof. Atka Al-Khazraji which were exhibited on the first and second day of the festival. It is noteworthy that this folk event witnessed the presence of a large number of academics, intellectuals and media professionals.
