Abstract

Attention to home and work place is important in our lives, Where the place to live and work it must be within the specification of high quality .  where the heat and rain is one of the most affected by the houses, and that the first place in the house is exposed and where the accumulation of rain and heat is the surface But to protect the surfaces from heat and water, this can be done in several ways, including sealing the surface of the water, which collects on the surface and causes the water to leak to the ceiling and cause moisture on the roof, leading to the impurity and causing a clear leakage of water inside the house.

The purpose of this work is to use the lamacryl material and to reinforce it with fiber. The cut glass is used as a substitute for the kashi. It is lightweight, high durability, high elasticity, non-cracking and breakage. It is easy to work, moisture proof and thermal insulation. We have prepared a flexible rubber sheet from a light layer of lamacryl using a manual casting technique which is very easy and inexpensive.

It has been reinforced by fiber glass with various size fractions (v0, v1, v2, v3, v4) (0,2.34,4.69,7.10,9.43) to know the effect of glass fibers on the durability of the paint because it is characterized by high specifications such as price and durability. (ASTM) to evaluate the rubber coating supported by the cut fiber and found in the rupture test that the tensile strength is the resistance of the material to the forces that are causing the rupture and show that the rupture strength is increased by the fibrous fracture of the fiber due to the high durability of fiber glass (54.132) -72.65) kN/m.

In the hardness test, surface resistance to the cracks and scratching on the surface, the hardness values ​​of the surface are increased by increasing the volume fractures of the glass fiber because of the high strength of the fiber of the glass, and the strength of the bond between the base material and the fiber values ​​range (61.2-81.5). Shock examination is the resistance of the material to break under the impact of high speed strain and shock resistance increases with fiber, which means that the fiber has improved the strength of the material added to the good bond between the material and fiber. It was found that the coating used is a good thermal insulation and the thermal conductivity coefficient is reduced by increasing the volume fraction of the cut glass fiber as the fiber of heat insulation material. Examination of water absorption When immersing samples in water for a certain period of time, the amount of water absorbed is very low. It was noted that when adding fiber glass we notice that the brightness values ​​are greater than 140-142 and the brightness values ​​229-231. This means that there is a color stability for the composites .The bacteria were tested for the samples used. We note that the coating used is resistant to bacteria, rot and can kill E-coil bacteria and increases its resistance by increasing the fracture of the fibers. This means that the coating used is highly effective against the bacteria. The adhesion test was done for the samples prepared from the rubber material and the chopped glass fiber. It was found that the adhesion increased by increasing the volume ratios of the added fiber.
