Abstract
The proposed training device works by placing a laser source that is installed next to the hurdle that is equipped with a graduated strip. This enables us to know the height of the laser beam from the hurdle. Also, there is an additional piece of light sensor box that receives and responds to the light signals through passing the sensors through laser.
The device works by connecting the box with sensors on the player’s weight center, which is the point of the hip joint so that the direction of sensors to the right side of the player so that the player ran during the linking of the box naturally, in addition to the status of laser radiation as mentioned earlier.
After the operation of the sensors and laser beam next to the hurdle, the player is directed to start performance and when the player crosses over the hurdle the device will give a notification that the player’s weight center passaged the required height determined by the height of laser beam from the hurdle. The player is given notification through sound signal providing information and feedback to the player and coach concerning the player weight center which is of great importance. Decreasing the height will decrease performance time and achievement by decreasing hurdle clearance time. If the center of the body is higher the player will land faster a matter that leads to increased performance speed as well as improving achievement time.
