The distinguished graduate students of the department of French language at the college of languages, University of Baghdad spent a month in France, Switzerland and Germany during the summer holiday as a grant from the French Embassy in Baghdad dedicated for Iraqi students.
The Iraqi graduates gained this grant after passing DELF B1 Exam conducted at the French Cultural Center in Baghdad whereas the embassy organized a scientific trip for a month to France, Germany and Switzerland to obtain a degree from the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon and to learn about the cultural, archaeological and tourist attractions of those countries, where they took courses in French language and culture. Also they visited several famous landmarks in France, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Church and the Seine, as well as the home of the famous novelist Victor Hugo, the Citadel Capital, the Boutique Breguet in Paris and others.
