The director of the computer center at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Samer Sami Hassan held a video conference with the members of Juniper Networks Inc. which is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Sunnyvale, California in the presence of a number of engineers and partners in Iraq from the Middle East Telecommunications Company (METCO) as a leading integrator of telecommunications and information technology solutions in the Middle East and Africa.
The two sides discussed prospects of academic cooperation in the field of telecommunications as well as the opening of a major academy at the center for training engineers based on certified curricula adopted by Juniper Corporation. This online conference was also attended by Luma Hassan, the director of computer and network maintenance division, Assist. Teacher Ammar Sabah, the director of the systems division, the programmer Osama Hassan, the director of the systems development unit and the senior engineer Abdullah Abd Ali Jassim, the director of quality assurance and university performance unit at the computer center.
