The college of engineering at the University of Baghdad represented by Dr. Kazim Raheem and Dr. Mervat Al-Taie participated recently in a workshop on the draft law of public-private partnership with the finance committee of the House of Representatives to discuss the integrated project designed for the USAID agency entitled “The Public-Private Partnership Bill” that was previously passed by the parliament.

This came to cooperate between government agencies and the private sector to strengthen the legislative framework aimed at involving the private sector in the process of economic development in Iraq with an explanation of the most important directions and methods used to determine a comprehensive strategy to be adopted by the parliament later.
