The college of education for women hosted a workshop on the mechanisms of applying the courses system at the University of Baghdad presided by the associate rector for scientific affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif with the attendance of the head of the department of scientific affairs, Dr. Sudad Hisham Hameed, director of the department of quality assurance and university performance, Dr. Yousra Mohammed Abdullah and a number of deans of colleges.

The workshop aimed to introduce this system and the requirements and practical procedures for implementation at the beginning of the current academic year (2019-2020) as well as reviewing the most important details such as its advantages, controls and instructions issued by the department of studies, planning and follow-up at the ministry of higher education and scientific research.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel pointed out that the courses system has a great role in the development of knowledge and building bridges of relations with the Iraqi universities and will have a positive impact on the reality of higher education towards improving its quality and keeping up with the academic developments in this regard.
