Head of the department of clinical examination and a diagnostic radiologist at the leading center for cancer research Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Muhsen participated in a training course on the radiation risk prevention training held in Bangkok, Thailand through presenting two lectures on obtaining the patient’s consent for a therapeutic catheter operation and how to design a training model of a radiation protection system.
During this event, lectures were given on the dangers of ionizing X-rays in interventional radiologic operations and a practical training was carried on in the interventional radiology department at the University Hospital which included training on the interventional apparatus and Flouroscopy. At the end of the course, certificates of participation and accreditation were distributed to the trainees.
