Dr. Muna Abdullah Al-Bayati, a professor from the department of pediatric and preventive dentistry participated in a symposium held and sponsored by the ministry of science and technology within the mechanisms of scientific cooperation between the college and other relevant government institutions. Dr. Muna Abdullah delivered a lecture entitled (Preventive techniques of environmental pollution resulting from medical residues) which addressed the medical contaminants resulting from hospital and health services which are characterized as harmful waste to environment, human and society and how to find the best and secure methods for destroying such contaminants for the sake of maintaining the health and safety of service personnel from the hazards of these pollutants and to prevent transmission to others.
