A number of professors from the institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology at University of Baghdad participated in the publication of a research entitled “Molecular study of the large-spectrum bioactinic genes in the bacteria of reptiles isolated from burns injuries in Baghdad hospitals in Biochemical and Cellular Archives Journal registered in Scopus. The aim of the research is to study the role of ESPL enzymes and genes in the resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria to antibiotics for one hundred and fifty samples of burns samples collected from four hospitals in Baghdad, where the research included the use of the colonies as a preliminary identification of the diagnosis by using PI 20NE system using Vitek-2 system, where DDST test was used for the purpose of detection of isolates producing ESPL.
