Department of Petroleum Engineering honors his professors, patrons and alumni

  In an initiative with the values of a great moral promises by the Department of Petroleum Engineering, the oldest history and the heaviest in the scientific contributions and publications among his counterparts in Iraq, to honor a group of graduates who took up senior management positions and campaign professorships of teaching section at the Hall of Graduate Studies in the department in the presence of Dr. Amal Abdel Ghani Associate Dean for scientific Affairs, a representative of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Qasim Mohammad daws and Dr. Maha Raouf Abdulamir, head of petroleum engineering and a large number of staff in the Ministry of oil and a group of professors from the department.

  Dr. Maha Raouf Abdul Amir, head of petroleum engineering, delivered a speech welcoming the attendees and thanked them for their presence to attend the celebratory anniversary of the ninetieth of the founding of the College and offered the honorary shield, which was in the form of a drop of oil started with words of thanks and appreciation to all who contributed and contributes to in support of the department in the march of science and education. The honoring began with His Excellency the Minister of Oil , Mr. Abdu-l Karim Luaibe , received on his behalf by his representative, Mr. Iqdam Al-Shidede Director of the Department of Training and Development, and then Mr. Ahmed Chamaa , Deputy Minister of Oil, and Mr. Abdul- Mahdi al-Amidi, director of the Department of Contracts and licenses in the Oil Ministry and Mr. Iqdam Al-Shididi , Director of the Department of Training and Development, and Dr. Abdullah higher Aldbaj Director of the Department of reservoirs and field development, and Mr. Ali Qubool Director General of Maysan Oil Company and Mr. Dalman Al-Aqeeli, General Manager of Central Oil Company and Mrs. Nihad Ahmed Moussa Director General of the Oil projects, Mr. Idriss Al- Yasiri Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Dr. Abdul Karim Hasan, director of research and development center oil and Prof. Dr. Samir Al- Assaf and Prof. Dr. Ali Al- Mashat and assistant professor Antoine Mehran and Dr. Hadi Alazerg and Prof. Dr. Akram al-Hiti and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jawad Saleh and Professor Dr. Mohammad Baqir Al-Sinbili.

  And this honor comes as part of closer ties between the department and its graduates and patrons, and in recognition of the role played by the officials of the Ministry of Oil in the support of the department.

  And on the sidelines of the meeting, it was agreed to activate the joint work between departments and companies of the Oil Ministry and the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Baghdad .
