Baghdad University Council resolutions – 14th session
Fourteenth session
1. Congratulation on the occasion of the victories achieved by our armed forces and the popular crowd in the Salahaddin province and Tikrit wish them complete the March to liberate the whole Iraqi territory and defeat terrorism.
2. Assistance to universities located in the liberated areas.
3. The next year should be a qualitative one to promote the scientific level.
4. His Excellency stressed the need for focused attention to controls and laws and to keep the University Council on important issues raised at the meetings of the committees of the deans, especially that need to support the attribution of the University Council.
5. The standards must be adopted in universities to take advantage of untapped capacity in formations as possible. Then the president of the council proceeded to put up instructions for this meeting as follows:
1. Direct the administrative assistant to spread the criteria in college about taking advantage of untapped capacity for maximum benefit from these competencies and possible placement of the lecturers for a short period and is intended to invest as much as possible and provide teaching cadres in colleges and universities help other boys to replenish.
2. Direct the administrative assistant to call all university formations to update their deployment management structure.
3. Transfer of teachers to new universities to fill the gap in their specializations.
4. Direct the dean of the college of medicine to form a committee to check the attached medical reports with parameters postpone postgraduate study, to the extent of actual students need to put off school year based on the attached reports.
The council considered a note by the administrative section with number 1118, dated 26/3/2015 on the recommendation of the Council of the College of engineering taken twelfth meeting held on 4/3/2015 included agreeing to extend the service life of Prof. Ahmed Abdul Sahib Mohammad, to the urgent need for his services, based on the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.
Approval of extension of university service of (a. d. Ahmed Abdul Sahib Mohammed)/faculty of engineering for one year for scarcity of his specialization according to the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.
Approval of the research master’s student Haidar Ashour Juma/oil Engineering Department with the Ministry of oil, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009 provided that it doesn’t contradict with the controls of supervision on postgraduate students in number and scientific levels.
