Technical Preparation monochromatic filters the visible rang hybrid materials using sol-gel method

ABSTRACT

   

The importance of filter preparation from the polymeric material because the cost, a high elasticity , unbreakable and high quality  .To preparation filter with the wavelength (490nm) using visual application , it is used in the al photometer device  in the specified wavelength . instead of the filter glass breakable and expensive .It is used in the manufacture of optical detectors with in specific spectral ranges. Filters used in imaging cameras where the film is affected by lights and colors. It is used by the application blue light filter for eye care of an important application of the eye from the display lighting in the mobile  phone to protect. The aim of this work is the possibility to manufacture optical filter specific wavelength and has a high elasticity length using organic-inorganic material with sol-gel method. To preparation the  compound gelatin(TEOS) to use 5 ml TEOS, 5ml Ethanol , 10 ml water does not ionic and 0.08 ml hydrochloric acid. It has been dissolve the dye in the ethanol with different concentration ( 10-5,10-6,10-7, 10-8) . It was chosen best concentration of the dye to be mixed with the polymer ( PMMA) by 10% polymer and 90% dye. When mixing  20% TEOS  , 70% PMMA and 10% organic dye with mixing the room temperature to preparation hybrid films.Where examined films the absorption spectrum and fluorescence spectrum , when mixing the polymer with the dye, the absorption spectrum that has a high absorbency (0.8 with wavelength 350 nm ). When add TEOS , polymer and dye showed achange in the absorption spectrum with films prepared as increased absorbability ( 2.1 with 200-350 nm ) and ( 1.4 with 400-800nm). The fluorescence spectrum with dye solution 450-580 nm , the mixture dye with polymer 430-530 nm and when mixture TEOS, dye and polymer got filtered wavelength , the fluorescence showed determine the wavelength when the wavelength 490nm.
