Name: Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber al-Ansari.

Education: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering of Nanotechnology.

Publications: He has more than thirty research papers in the field of improving crude oil production, capturing and storing carbon dioxide on Google Scholar, 23 of which listed in Scopus, 15 papers in Clarivate Analytics (I –Index=17) that makes him at the forefront of Iraqi researchers in terms of citations and quality of publications.

International Collaboration: He is a visiting professor at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia since 2018, renewed to the period (2021 to 2024). He also works as an external supervisor for graduate students at the Curtin University in Australia. He also works as an arbitrator of 34 international accredited journals and has international arbitration experiences for more than (185) global researches.

Career:

– Lecturer at the department of chemical engineering at the University of Baghdad.

– Member of the editorial board of the Iraqi Journal of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.

– Consultant engineer at the Iraqi Engineers Association and a member of its general body.

– He has (27) books of thanks and appreciation dedicated from the ministers of higher education and scientific research and rectors of the University of Baghdad.

– He held many administrative positions at the college of engineering along with his teaching duties since 2003, as the following:

1- Director of the Internet Unit.

2- Editor-in-Chief of the Iraqi Journal of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.

3- Chairman of the Central Reconstruction Committee.

4- Director of the Registration Department at the College of Engineering.

5- Deputy Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

6- Director of the Graduate Division at the College of Engineering.

7- Director of the Diwan Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad.

8- Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs at the University of Baghdad.
