The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Leadership in Community Service: Innovation and Development of Institutional Activities”, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ne’ma Dahesh Farhan.

The workshop aimed to promote the concept of social entrepreneurship as a driving force for academic and institutional development, and to highlight the role of colleges in innovating modern approaches that contribute to community service and expand the positive impact of higher education institutions.

Presented by Assistant Lecturer Enas Mohammed Radi, the workshop addressed the importance of entrepreneurial thinking in designing university activities and employing creativity to enhance institutional performance, in alignment with the University of Baghdad’s vision of achieving academic excellence and serving the community.

The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations calling for the adoption of entrepreneurial initiatives within the college, the activation of community partnerships, and the engagement of youth potential in developing sustainable programs and activities that contribute to societal advancement.

This workshop supports one of the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4—which advocates for quality education.
