The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad held a meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council, attended by a distinguished group of prominent academic and professional figures. The meeting was dedicated to discussing a number of vital topics of interest to female students and graduates.

The meeting covered key themes, particularly focusing on ways to prepare and qualify students and graduates for the labor market. It also emphasized enhancing the partnership between the academic and industrial sectors to ensure effective educational outcomes and support student-applied projects as a launchpad for future job opportunities. Additionally, the meeting discussed developing mechanisms for communication with alumnae, tracking their career paths, and opening up new avenues for training and employment in cooperation with state institutions and the private sector.

This initiative contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
