The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad participated in the Eighth International Scientific Conference held in Erbil, under the title “Scientific Research and its Applications in Serving the Community: New Visions for a Changing World.” The conference was organized by the Manara Foundation for Development and Education in cooperation with Knowledge University and Al-Aqaba University for Technology. The college’s participation included a valuable research presentation by Prof.Dr. Ammar Basim Saleh, a faculty member at the college.
Prof.Dr. Saleh presented a research paper titled “Islamic Values and Their Role in Community Development: A Contemporary Intellectual Study” in which he discussed the importance of Islamic values in building a cohesive and prosperous society, as well as their impact on addressing contemporary challenges.
At the end of the conference, Prof.Dr. Saleh was honored and awarded a certificate of appreciation by the organizing bodies in recognition of his valuable participation and significant contribution to the success of the conference’s activities.
This participation reflects the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to supporting scientific research and encouraging faculty members to engage in international conferences and scientific seminars, thereby contributing to the exchange of knowledge and expertise and advancing research across various fields.
