Prof.Dr. Wissal Subeih Karim Al-Mayyahi, a faculty member in the Student Activities Division at the College of Arts, University of Baghdad, participated in the Eighth International Scientific Conference, held under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supervised by the President of the University of Basra.
Prof.Dr. Al-Mayyahi presented her research titled: “The Impact of Physical Effort Training on the Development of Partial Oxygen Pressure, Speed Endurance, and the Performance of the 10,000-Meter Run for Men.” The conference aimed to support sports as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development, explore artificial intelligence applications in physical education research, and stimulate scientific research in sports sciences.
At the conclusion of the event, the conference emphasized the importance of: Organizing scientific and training workshops on artificial intelligence and its applications across various fields, particularly in sports science.Enhancing collaboration between the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support researchers and specialists in utilizing AI technologies to keep pace with modern advancements.
In addition, continuing to hold scientific conferences and forums to facilitate knowledge exchange between institutions and encourage collaborative projects that contribute to institutional development through scientific research and patented innovations.
This participation aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which advocates for quality education and the advancement of scientific knowledge.
