Dr. Zaid Abdul Jabbar from the Department of International Studies, College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, participated in the 13th Arab Tennis Veterans Championship, which was organized by the Al-Said Iraqi Club.

The college’s participation aimed to promote sportsmanship among students and college members, encouraging them to take part in extracurricular activities that enhance both their physical and mental abilities.

The championship was attended by the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Dr. Aqeel Muften, along with distinguished figures from the sports and academic communities. Around 100 veteran tennis players from Arab countries, representing 18 nations, competed in the event.

This activity supports one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 17, which emphasizes building partnerships to achieve these objectives
