The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received the team of the College of Law qualified for the final rounds in the Riyadh International Commercial Arbitration Competition, and Dr. Insaf praised the team’s efforts, stressing that this achievement reflects the university’s excellence in international forums.

The President of the University stressed the nobility of the College of Law and the importance of the role of its graduates in strengthening the legal system in Iraq. He also stressed full support for such competitions that contribute to the development of student’s skills and praised the college’s distinguished role in representing the university in international forums, which raises the university’s reputation globally.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Insaf stressed the importance of supporting young competencies to raise the name of Iraq in international forums, wishing the team success in the final competitions.

It is noteworthy that the team of the College of Law consists of students:

Abdullah Safaa Najm, Sajjad Alaa Fadel, Fatima Diaa Jihad, and Zahraa Haider Ahmed, under the supervision of Dr. Lubna Abdul Hussein Issa and Dr. Mona Naim Jaaz.

This activity achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the sixteenth goal, which calls for peace, justice, and strong institutions, as well as the seventeenth goal, which calls for partnership to achieve the goals.
