The Deanship of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Sarmad Hashim Al-Khatib, hosted the Iraqi football legends team in a match on the playgrounds of our college with one of the teams of professors led by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Shihab Hattab Mutlaq, and in the presence of the President of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haider Fouad Al-Sayegh, who is one of the team members with a group of college professors.
The match ended in a draw with five goals for the two teams, and the match witnessed a wide presence and great encouragement from students and professors in an atmosphere of pleasure and joy.
This initiative and others come within the plan of the Deanship of the College to break the routine of the university day and a positive outlet for students and professors, as it always encourages them to such activities.
This hosting achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the third goal, which calls for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
