The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad participated in a two-day workshop on the application of the “Bologna” process, which was held at Raba Rennes University, in which professors from various governmental and private nursing colleges in Iraq participated.

The workshop aimed to exchange experiences between Iraqi nursing colleges, update curricula in line with the standards of the Bologna process, and set unified standards for nursing education at the national and international levels. The College of Nursing was represented in the workshop by Prof. Dr. Zahid Jassim Mohammed (Scientific Assistant), Assistant Professor Dr. Sarab Nasr Fadel, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibtisam Khalaf Abd Ali, and Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Majed Musa.

This participation comes within the framework of the College of Nursing’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of academic education and graduate qualified nursing staff according to the latest international standards.

This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the third, fourth, and ninth goals, which call for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, as well as quality education, industry, innovation, and infrastructure.
