The Autism Committee at the Educational and Psychological Research Center at the University of Baghdad held its periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Fadel Al-Saadi, Director of the Center, and in the presence of members of the committee.

The meeting came to discuss the plans and procedures necessary to activate the work of the Autism Unit at the Center, in order to achieve its active role in the scientific and humanitarian fields.

During the meeting, they reviewed scientific initiatives that can contribute to providing support to people with autism spectrum disorder, as well as discussing ways to develop specialized training and rehabilitation programs for workers in this field.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Saadi stressed the importance of teamwork to achieve the desired goals, noting that the Autism Unit will contribute significantly to supporting research and studies related to autism disorder, as well as providing humanitarian and educational services to the community.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees agreed to form specialized working groups and follow up on the recommendations that were put forward, to ensure their implementation on the ground and achieve the desired impact.

This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the seventeenth goal, which calls for partnership in order to achieve the goals.
