Assistant Professor Dr. Heba Muhammad Fadel, a lecturer in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at the College of Engineering Khwarizmi at the University of Baghdad, participated in the first sustainable development conference held under the auspices of the President of the University of Karbala (Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali) and the President of the University of the Dean (Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashami) and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman), which was held at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Karbala under the slogan “Sustainable Universities, Bright Future” about her scientific research entitled “Smart Campus Navigator and Information Hub for the University of Baghdad”
The research highlighted strategies to employ smart technologies to improve campus management and enhance the quality of educational services in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. Heba’s participation is a scientific contribution that highlights the leading role of universities in driving innovation and sustainability.
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the seventeenth goal, which calls for partnership in order to achieve the goals.
