Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad hosted the inaugural meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council for the Department of Information and Communication Engineering. The meeting was attended by Council members representing various academic and industrial sectors, including EarthLink Communications, the Information and Communication Technology Research Center, HalaSat, and Ard Al-Sawad Company.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the department and the industry, enhancing student training opportunities, and updating curricula to align with the latest advancements in information and communication engineering. Additionally, the meeting addressed key challenges facing the job market and explored the potential for introducing innovative technological solutions. The session featured constructive discussions aimed at bridging the gap between engineering education and industry needs.

Emphasis was also placed on student development and improving the quality of educational curricula. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering expressed gratitude and appreciation to the board members for their valuable contributions, looking forward to further collaboration to achieve common goals between academia and the industrial sector.
