The Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “AI Applications in Scientific Research: Benefits and Challenges.” The session featured lectures by Assist.Prof.Dr. Hakim Hamoud Flaih, a faculty member at the institute, and Prof.Dr. Aqeel Hamza Habeeb Al-Hasnawi from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kufa. The workshop was supervised by Assist.Prof.Dr. Ali Mohammed Thujail Al-Mamouri, Dean of the Institute and a certified public accountant. The event was attended by faculty members and postgraduate students.

The workshop explored the significance of AI tools in generating diverse and intelligent content aligned with the objectives of scientific research. It emphasized the role of AI in conducting precise analyses of behaviors and needs, as well as the benefits and challenges of integrating AI into scientific research.

These activities align with environmental sustainability goals, particularly Goal 4 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aims to ensure inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education while promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
