The Department of Italian Language at the College of Languages organized a seminar entitled “The mechanism and effectiveness of international scientific mobility programs Erasmus Plus KEY1 The activity of the Italian Language Department as a model”, in which the Head of the Italian Language Department, Dr. Bahaa Najm Mahmoud, lectured, and in the presence of a number of lecturer and students of the college.
The seminar aimed to clarify the mechanism and method of applying for Erasmus Plus programs and activating the paragraph (Mobility), and how to benefit from the experience of the Italian Language Department at the College of Languages and copy it to some other departments, which only need to find a European university in order to partner for scientific development, because most European countries support the development of their language teaching staff in other countries.
The seminar included the development in the Italian Language Department due to the application of the mechanism of some artificial intelligence programs, which are used effectively in the manufacture and formation of courses.
The researchers recommended the need to work on the inclusion of students of the College of Languages in international mobility projects, which will allow students to spend a period ranging between 6 and 9 months in the mother tongue countries during the initial study.
This symposium achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the seventeenth goal, which calls for partnership in order to achieve the goals.
