Dr. Halim Abbas Al-Fatlawi, a lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, participated in the international conference “Heritage, Tourism and Culture – Renewed Visions for Civilizational Development”, which was held at the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman, in a prominent scientific and cultural event, in the presence of the Omani Ministers of Tourism, Antiquities and Higher Education, along with a group of scientists, thinkers, and researchers from around the world.

During the conference, Dr. Al-Fatlawi presented valuable research in which he shed light on the methodology of the scholars of the honorable seminary in showing the ratio of shrines and shrines in Iraq and the Islamic world to their owners, as well as the anthropological dimension of these holy places and how this relationship can be used to build the human being in terms of values and discipline and to draw inspiration from the values of Islam, sacrifice and knowledge from the biography of the owners of these shrines and shrines in the Islamic system to achieve the goals of individual development in our contemporary societies.

In his research, Dr. Al-Fatlawi explained the impact of archeology and its contributions to the study of these shrines and shrines from the terms of archaeological and heritage frameworks because of their historical dimension in time and place.

This participation achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the seventeenth goal, which calls for partnership to achieve the goals.
