The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “Promoting a Culture of Educational Development in Academic Institutions”, attended by a number of professors, researchers, and education professionals.

The event, led by Prof.Dr. Younis Qaddouri and Dr. Ayman Sarim, aimed to highlight the importance of advancing education in academic institutions, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement, exchanging knowledge and expertise among participants, and enhancing their skills in curriculum development and modern teaching methodologies.

The workshop covered several key themes, including the significance of educational development in academic institutions, the concept of quality culture and continuous improvement in education, the foundations of curriculum development and modern teaching methods, and the role of technology in advancing education.

The session concluded with several recommendations and proposals, emphasizing the need to establish strategic plans for developing education in academic institutions, investing in faculty capacity-building by training them in the latest teaching methodologies, and encouraging scientific research in the field of educational development.

This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which advocates for quality education.
