The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad issued a new book entitled “E-Learning: Foundations and Applications in the Digital Age” for the lecturer at the college, Dr. Alaa Abdul Khaliq Al-Mandalawi and assistant lecturer Esraa Najm Al-Hajimi.

The book, which is located in 203 pages, includes 37 chapters dealing with the subject of e-learning in its various aspects, starting from the definition of its concept and importance, through its history and development, to its types, methods, and technological tools. The book also reviews the experiences of e-learning in various educational stages from pre-university education to higher education and institutional training, with a focus on the challenges facing this type of education and how to overcome them.

This book comes at a time when e-learning is witnessing rapid developments, which makes it necessary to understand and benefit from these developments. The book meets an urgent need for Arabic resources on e-learning as it covers various aspects of this topic comprehensively.
