The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, held a training course entitled (Developing Administrative Skills for Workers in Schools and the Ministry of Education), in which a group of teachers from the theoretical and differential sciences branches lectured, Prof. Dr. Najla Abbas Al-Zuhairi, Prof. Dr. Sundus Musa, Prof. Maysa Nadim and Prof. Dr. Nibal Karim.
The course focused on three main axes: the first was presented by Dr. Al-Zuhairi on (educational supervision, concept, tasks, importance, objectives, characteristics, types of democratic, scientific, creative and leadership supervision, qualities of a successful supervisor), while the second was presented by Dr. Sundus and Dr. Maysa on (school leadership, its concept and types of transformation, service, democracy, authoritarianism, diplomacy, distributed, transactions and responsibility, school administrations, the administrative skills necessary for school principals), which include humanitarian, conceptual and technical skills). The third axis, which was presented by Dr. Nibal, dealt with (problem analysis and decision-making skill and planning skill, the concept of decision-making, the relationship between the problem and the decision, the difference between decision-making and decision-making, administrative levels in the organization, including senior, middle and executive management).
This course achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal of quality education.
