The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad announced the launch of a new cooperation program with the French Embassy and France Médias Monde, which aims to train students and professors within the framework of enhancing media skills and knowledge exchange.

The meeting aimed to discuss the mechanisms of implementing the joint training program, and it is scheduled to start the first training week dedicated to professors, to later transfer the experiences gained to students in later stages.

This cooperation comes in the context of efforts to develop media curricula and enhance the capabilities of academic staff and students by benefiting from international expertise, and this training is expected to serve as a preliminary stage for testing the program before it is expanded to include more activities and advanced training.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, stressed that “this cooperation constitutes a qualitative step towards enhancing the quality of media education, and providing students with skills in line with modern developments in the media field.”
