The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Registration Division at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad, organized a training workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Programming Historical Documentary Films and Developing Educational Methods”, in which the teacher, Dr. Subul Saad Mohieldin, lectured, in the presence of a number of teachers, staff, and students.
The workshop aimed to highlight the great benefits of artificial intelligence in the production of historical documentaries, in addition to its role in developing educational methods, through the introduction of new programs that keep pace with modern developments and move away from traditional methods.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which was encouraging the use of artificial intelligence techniques in teaching humanities, especially history, because of its role in saving time and effort and adding an element of suspense to historical events, which facilitates their preservation and assimilation compared to traditional methods in education.
