The Division of Graduate Studies at the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit, organized an important workshop for graduate students (research year for master’s and doctorates) entitled “Instructions for discussing theses and theses”, in which Dr. Zahid Jassim Mohammed and Dr. Wafa Abdul Ali Hattab lectured, in the presence of graduate students.
This workshop aimed to provide graduate students with a detailed explanation of all the steps and procedures related to the discussion of theses and dissertations and to know and guide the necessary preparation and discussion of their theses and dissertations in an optimal manner.
The workshop recommended the need to emphasize the importance of adhering to the ethics of scientific research at all stages of preparing the thesis or dissertation and to clarify the importance of avoiding scientific plagiarism, and commitment to scientific integrity.
This workshop embodies the college’s commitment to developing students’ capabilities and equipping them with the necessary skills to conduct high-quality scientific research and contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of nursing.
This study achieves one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the fourth goal that calls for quality education.
