The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Soft Power Etiquette”, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Mashat Al-Musawi, in the presence of a number of professors, employees and students at the college.

The workshop aimed to clarify the concept of soft power and its importance in professional and social life, where the lecturer focused on how to employ personal skills and high-end behaviors in building successful relationships and positively influencing work environments and society, as well as the arts of etiquette and effective communication, and the importance of emotional intelligence in dealing with others and enhancing the individual’s professional image.

During the workshop, Dr. Al-Mousawi stressed that “possessing soft power skills is a key factor in career success and career progression, stressing the need to develop these skills among students and graduates to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.”

This workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad to enhance the skills of students and graduates and prepare them for the labor market through specialized training programs aimed at developing their professional and personal abilities.
