The Department of Student Activities at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad organized an art exhibition entitled “Between Terrorism and Humanity”, and the exhibition was attended by the Dean of the College of Languages, Dr. Ali Adnan, and the exhibition came with wide participation from the colleges of the University of Baghdad, as students from various disciplines were allowed to express their visions through artworks that focus on the suffering of the Yazidis and explain their status as victims of terrorism and extremism.

The exhibition aimed to shed light on the humanitarian effects of terrorism, enhance community awareness of the importance of peaceful coexistence, support art culture as a means of expressing social issues, as well as provide artistic studies on the suffering of minorities, especially Yazidis, as well as spreading awareness on how to confront terrorism and protect people.

In conclusion, he recommended that young artists should be encouraged to present artworks with awareness messages and increase cooperation between universities and government institutions to spread the culture of peace. Intensifying activities focused on supporting minorities and peaceful coexistence, as well as strengthening academic efforts to raise awareness about human rights, as well as working to disseminate success stories and peaceful coexistence among all segments of society.
