The College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad and the Continuing Education Unit concluded the specialized training course in the Rivet program within the field of civil engineering, which targeted engineers from the Maysan Oil Company and the Gas Bottling and Services Company in Baghdad and lasted for two weeks, including theoretical lectures and practical computer exercises.
The course was moderated by a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the college, Prof. Dr. Salah Rahima, who provided specialized content in the analysis and design of structures using the Revit program and a robot program in the BIM environment, within the first-level of the training course.
At the end of the course, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, distributed certificates of appreciation to the participants in the presence of the Director of the Continuing Education Unit, Assistant Teacher Ahmed Abdel Kazim. The Dean praised the efforts of the participants and their interest in developing their scientific skills in their engineering fields, stressing the importance of using Revit programs in civil engineering disciplines, and expressed the college’s keenness to organize such courses that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of employees and developing their professional capabilities.
