The Continuing Education Unit at theCollege of Science, University of Baghdad, held a training course tagged “The basics of the ChemDraw program” under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, and the presence of a number of graduate students, teachers and specialists in computer software and chemistry.

The course aimed to introduce the basic concepts of the program for drawing spatial shapes of chemical compounds and making all diagrams, and teaching participants how to download the program and use it on the command side, as well as enabling them to make spatial shapes for simple or complex chemical compounds and make diagrams and illustrations for all sciences.

The course, which was lectured by the assistant school Ghofran Ashour Hammoud, included identifying how to convert the shape into a three-dimensional model and rotate it in all directions, in addition to providing an introductory overview of the program, its orders, the name of the compound and its molecular formula, and knowing its chemical and physical properties with illustrative examples of spatial shapes, diagrams and illustrations, and converting shapes into a 3D model, indicating that the importance of this program, which is one of the important programs in the field of drawing chemical compounds, especially organic compounds, and teaching how to draw formulas. The structural structure of organic chemical compounds knowledge of the physical properties of chemical compounds and how to write chemical equations.
