Ibn Sina E-Learning Center organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of Blended Learning and How to Design Interactive E-Lessons to Enhance the Effective Participation of Students” by Eng. M. Hajar Bassem Muhammad Ali, in which she discussed the importance of combining traditional and e-learning to achieve a comprehensive educational experience.
The workshop aimed to introduce the benefits of blended learning, including improving the quality of education, enhancing student interaction, and developing their digital skills. It also focused on providing practical examples of the application of blended learning using various strategies, such as flipped classrooms, employing interactive tools such as Google Classroom and Quizizz to stimulate student participation, and other programs that help make the educational process interesting and enjoyable.
The workshop reviewed the steps of designing interactive e-lessons to enhance the effective participation of students while emphasizing the importance of online discussions as a means to enhance interaction and exchange of ideas among students. She provided practical advice on how to moderate discussions across educational platforms and asked open-ended questions to stimulate critical thinking.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing that blended learning represents a pioneering educational model that combines the advantages of traditional education and e-learning, which enhances the quality of the educational process. The workshop also stressed the importance of investing in modern technology in designing interactive lessons that increase students’ interaction and motivate them to participate effectively, which contributes to achieving outstanding educational outcomes.
