The Career Development and Employment Unit, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Science, successfully carried out a tree-planting campaign.

This initiative was part of a larger campaign launched by the Career Development and Employment Division at the University of Baghdad under the slogan “For a Greener Future,” under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad.

The campaign aimed to enhance environmental awareness and increase green spaces within the university, contributing to a sustainable and healthy environment for future generations. A variety of trees and plants were planted in different areas across the campus, reflecting the university’s commitment to environmental conservation and fostering ecological awareness among students and staff.

The initiative received enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and university employees, who actively engaged in planting seedlings. This effort reaffirmed the importance of a green university environment in promoting well-being and sustainability. Such initiatives represent a positive step toward realizing the university’s vision of environmental sustainability and expanding green spaces to create an ideal academic environment.
