Dr. Noha Adel Ibraheem, a faculty member at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, delivered a lecture at the scientific symposium held at the College of Nursing, Al-Bayan University, titled “Protecting Women and Addressing Violence Against Them.” The event was attended by several faculty members and female students.

The event aimed to shed light on various forms of violence, with a particular focus on silent psychological violence, which significantly impacts women’s mental health. Several key topics were discussed, including strategies to reduce violence among women and methods to address both psychological and physical abuse.

The symposium concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of engaging in light physical activities, such as walking, to reduce stress levels, avoiding the suppression of negative emotions, and refraining from self-blame. Instead, it encouraged confronting problems and seeking effective solutions.
