The University of Baghdad welcomed the joining of a new batch of Arab and foreign students from various countries, as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The students were accepted into a wide range of university formations with scientific and humanitarian specializations. There, they were given a detailed explanation of the academic services and cultural activities provided by the university and had the opportunity to learn about the various faculties and scientific departments.
In a speech, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, expressed his pride in this new batch of students, noting that their joining represents a new value addition to the university community and enhances the cultural diversity that the university seeks to achieve. Ansaf stressed the university’s commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that enables students to achieve their academic and professional ambitions.
For their part, the students expressed their happiness to join the University of Baghdad, praising the warm reception and the university’s academically prestigious reputation.
