The Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, organized an educational lecture titled “Giving Injection,” under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul Malih, and the supervision of its head, Prof. Dr. Huda Abdul Samia. The lecture was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Wafaa Abdul Ali Hatab and Dr. Shaima Mohammed Hussein, faculty members from the College of Nursing, Department of Adult Nursing, University of Baghdad.
The activity covered the technique of giving injection, including types such as subcutaneous, insulin, intravenous, and intramuscular injections. It also included practical applications on how to give injections and draw blood.
This lecture contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
