The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad held a distinctive sports event in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, which included performances in gymnastics for children, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Fatima Abdul Maleh and a group of college employees, teachers and students, with the aim of developing and nurturing the talents of young people and enhancing their passion for sports.
This event aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the third goal, “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all”, and the fourth goal, “Ensure quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities”, by providing an inclusive sports environment that supports the development of children’s capabilities.
The event witnessed a distinctive interactive atmosphere, where children presented sports shows that showed their skills in gymnastics, amid great encouragement from the attendees. The college was keen to provide support and guidance to the young, which contributed to enhancing their self-confidence and developing their talents.
The attendees praised the distinguished organization of the event, expressing their appreciation for this initiative, which highlights the role of the college in supporting future generations and developing their capabilities. The Deanship of the College affirmed its commitment to continue organizing similar events to enhance community communication and develop young talents, as part of its vision to achieve innovation and excellence in the field of sports.
