The scout band at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nibal Karim Abdullah, participated in the activities of the meeting of brothers festival for various hobbies and crafts, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities under the slogan (Let’s shout high for Baghdad, civilization and peace) held at the International Railway Station in Baghdad, in its twenty-first session.
The participation included a review of the activities of the scout troupe, as well as their participation in the exhibition of handicrafts and art. For their part, all the participants praised their admiration for the activities of the college team, because they have an effective role annually in the festival, which expresses its lofty goals of strengthening the Arab-Islamic identity and rooting our national heritage in all its aspects to try to preserve it to remain a memory for generations and history.
This participation achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the seventeenth goal of partnerships to achieve the goals.
