The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts at Bagdad University, organized an awareness lecture entitled (The importance of the role of the educational counselor in the educational institution), in which Prof. Dr. Wafaa Adnan Hamid lectured, in the presence of a number of students.
The lecture aimed to give an illustrative picture of the duties of the educational counselor and his tasks in helping the student in the educational institution, especially the university student, in helping him deal with his new environment (university), introducing him to the nature of university life, and seeking with him to discover his educational capabilities to face any difficulties he may face.
The lecture came out with recommendations for the university student to take his hand in order to achieve access to the conditions and requirements for his graduation from the university.
