The Department of Biochemical Engineering at the College of Engineering Al-Khwarizmi at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Modern Trends in Food Engineering”, in the presence of the head of the department and a number of its teachers.
The workshop addressed the latest developments in the field of food engineering, with a focus on the use of biotechnologies and linking engineering design methods to the continuous progress in the food industry. She also highlighted the importance of preparing students’ projects to meet the needs of the labor market in the future, thus enhancing employment opportunities and innovation in this field.
The workshop received remarkable interaction from the attendees, where the teachers praised the topics presented and expressed their admiration for the level of scientific discussions that took place with the students. This workshop was part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing academic knowledge and linking it to modern practical applications.
